Nice sounding bongas

I bought those mainly to learn some latino rhytm and to add some sound to our acoustic music and of course to give it to the kids to learn some percussion beats.
Instrument is very solid made and sound wise quite well sounding considering the price I paid for. It comes with a tuning key which is very useful in terms of getting a more propoer sound out of the drums.
Comparing to higher level instruments sure is a big difference, but for learning and adding some latino beats to the music you play and also for live gigging, the instrument is just perferct. Of course you should not expect the details and sound to be like with 8 times more expanisve, but overall difference is smaller then price difference is.

They're crooked!

Bought these on a total whim for my toddler, so I did not have high expectations or requirements. My pair to not stand flat on a table or the ground. The drums are crooked, so the skins face each other slightly. Also the rubber doodahs that go on the threads come off if you look at them funny (not really an issue for me as my toddler never plays unsupervised, but annoying). BUT they do make sound when my toddler bangs on them, and that's actually all they really needed to do.
