Mojotone T Standard Solderless Harness

I bought this for my squire classic vibes custom ( made in china ) telecaster. I had problems with my control plate and decided to change out the whole plate plus install texas special pickups. The whole installation was simple. 6 slots . 1 hot and one ground wire from your neck / bridge pick up and your jack connects into the new switch. I had to get new American sized knobs for the tone and volume pot . Only negative is there isn't much resistance in the pots . They move around too easily for my liking . Only negative

Zunächst muss man ein wenig darauf achten, ob die Bohrungen für die Potis passen, da es sich hierbei um amerikanische Potis handelt, die dicker sind, als die schmalen asiatischen Pendants!

Die Klemme, mit der man die Kabel (statt Löten) einklemmt, ist auch erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber Vorkenntnisse bzgl. Gitarrenverkabelung sind aufgrund der einfach verständlichen Anleitung nicht nötig. Die Verkabelung geht dann schnell von der Hand. Hat man alles richtig gemacht, dann klingt alles tadellos.

Warum zwei Sterne Abzug: zum einen war bei mir eine Lötstelle am 3-Way-Switch schon bei Lieferung ab (konnte ich wieder dranlöten, aber eigentlich kauft man so ein Set ja, um Löten zu vermeiden und der Preis ist ja auch nicht ohne). Zum anderen empfinde ich die Gängigkeit der Potis einfach als zu leicht. Ich finde das einfach haptisch nicht schön, wenn die Potis sich zu leicht drehen lassen, das wirkt billig (obwohl die Potis tadellos funktionieren).
