Mooer Shim Verb

The sound on the ShimVerb were quite good but the major flaw of the pedal is it has no usable level control. The level knob is actually a Mix knob and in order to match the level of the guitar with the effect you have to dial in the effect louder resulting in an overall lower volume, as the reverb has a very low level you cannot raise otherwise. It's not bothersome on the Room setting but it gets significantly lower as you switch to Spring and Shimmer to the point where with the level at noon you can hardly hear any reverb at all. I was only interested in the Shimmer so this was useless to me but I've sold it to my bass player who is currently using it on bass. He is not very fond of the spring but is overall satisfied with using it.
