The best Ampeg ever, but is Origin Effects!

The pedal is heavy, very well done, sturdy construction! I have the SansAmp BDDI v2, but that pedal is a joke compared with the Origin SV.
The sound of the Origin SV is fenomenal.
I was very critical with the absence of the "ultra lo" comutator on the pedal, but, my gosh, with the bass set at 12 I have a lot of deepness, I don't need more, but the bass qualitty is perfect even at max!
The mids are great, not scooped like on the BDDI v2 (but I like the BDDI, I'm not selling that pedal, is my first love and I love to have more options soundwise on my pedalboards).
The DI and the 8x10 cab simulation is perfect, the real Ampeg tone, massive sound!

Best SVT in a box on the market

I usually play with headphones at home through my audio interface. I've tried many preamps (Darkglass, Aguilar, Nux MLD etc) and this one is the best amp in a box on the market. I've already managed to sell it and buy it again lol )). It's not as versatile as Darkglass, for example, it doesn't have headphone output, it doesn't support IRs, and it's big and heavy. But when you stand the philosophy of this device, you will love it. It's just a very good SVT amp in a box format that sounds amazing and gives you the feeling of playing a tube amp.

Connect this to the effects loop of your amp for an amazing tone. It reminds me of the Ampeg SVT-VR head I sold because it was way too heavy to carry around. I'm not a fan of the DI out, but still sounds good, just not my thing.

The OD mode might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the clean mode is just gorgeous. It covers all the Ampeg sound spectrum (to me at least).

Highly recommended!
