I had been looking for one of these for a LONG time. I have the Harp Arm product similar to this and, it was very difficult to find but, I did get lucky and found a used one online. I was ready to quit trying to find anything like it every search was a dead end and, then I found Thomann! Man, I jumped on this and in a week it came from Germany to Kansas (USA)! The selling price of this item is Great! Shipping was a little high but, when you can find what you've been looking for and, this is NOT AVAILABLE in the USA! It doesn't matter, you just want it!!!!!!!
This was my first time ordering overseas and Thomann was EXCELLENT! Great product, Communication was SUPERB! Shipping was fast and super informative!! I am VERY SATISFIED and, will definitely order again!!!!!!!
I will also add that this Roadworx item is superior to the Harp Arm item that I already have. The materials and workmanship is OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I was really excited to received this product. Looked robust. But then I attached my harp. The magnet is really weak. I start playing and the harp falls off almost immediately. Great idea but pity I won't be able to use it. Can't be used with the Hohner Pro Harps.

This solved a lot of issues as an instrumentalist, vocalist and harp player often in the same song! The magnet is really strong. The set up needs a little working out to get the right distance and angle to the mike but once set it's fine. It folds down nicely for transit but I had to buy a heavy base mike stand to accommodate this additional piece of equipment. It even holds my metal guru, sorry, metal kazoo. My only concern happened recently when I came to use it and the magnet had fallen out! I thought it was due to an earlier topple I took while loading. While packing up I found it attached to my Bass stand! I like to think it was loosened in the tumble. I have never had any problems with it being loose before and the magnet itself is generally well secured. I was considering purchasing another before I found the magnet which speaks volumes for it.

It works ( under Maxwell s Laws)

If the harp casing is made of a magnetic material this works proportionally well to how magnetic the material is. Joints are pretty solid and on the plus side you don't look like you just came out of a clockwork orange type orthodontic experience as with traditional harnesses.
