When i first tried it I thought I was monitoring the source... But no - it was the tape. Compared to NOS tapes, THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! about 90% of the original signal - with a small (albetit very aesthetic) notch at @ 6 KHz - and great HF response over 10 KHz. It's got character and accepts levels above 0dB easily. It tends to saturate over 3dB, but not always - it depends on the spectral "richness" of the signal. Of all the 4 tapes types from RTM, this is the one is best for home recordings.

Banda de foarte buna calitate. Se poate inregistra cu o dinamica de +3dB cu acuratete maxima. Din fericire, in sfarsit se gaseste o banda care inlocuieste cu brio Maxell.
