Great Concept, Underwhelming Execution
The idea behind the sizzle drop is revolutionary, but honestly the usage of this is mind numbingly annoying. The screw holding the latch tends to come undone very often. This results into a loose latch that won't clamp back to the actual top hat holder. Other than this surprisingly common occurrence, it is great for getting a closed/sizzle hi-hat sound during double bass sections.
