Great delay sounds, shimmer could be better
The Flashback 2 sounds amazing overall – the delays are crystal clear, warm, and very versatile. It’s super easy to dial in a great tone, and the Mash feature is a nice bonus for adding expression.
However, I have to say that the shimmer doesn’t sound that good compared to other options. It feels a bit artificial and harsh and lacks the smoothness you’d expect. If you want beautiful shimmer, you might need to look elsewhere, but for classic delays, this pedal is excellent.
