The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.
Analogue-Hybrid Synthesizer with Dual Signal Architecture
- 8-note polyphonic, two independent parts (DMNO 1 & DMNO 2), each with four voices
- 44-key Fatar keyboard with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch
- Controller section with assignable bend control, LFO, portamento and octave switch

- Mixer with overdrive for oscillators 1 & 2 and external audio signals
- Flexible modulation LFO with ten waveforms
- Three ADSR envelopes with loop mode and multiple modulation targets
- Programmable modulation matrix
- Arpeggiator and step sequencer with MIDI sync
- Effects: Reverb, Delay, Multi-Mode Distortion, Chorus, 3-band equaliser
- VFD display and four encoders for editing presets, voice settings, the modulation matrix, effects, etc.
