Great reeds for metal mouthpieces
After buying several java red reeds , i find them really a perfect fit for a metal mouthpiece with big opening ( like 8, 8+), for daily use, training and not only. A very good reed to start with when you are not sure about mouthpiece/reed combo. Powerful and bright projection, expresive sound , which will suit for different music styles. For easier mouthpieces you may need 2 to 3 / 3,5 reed number, for more resistant mouthpieces like 8-9 , will be 1 to 2 reed strength good enough.
