The best reed I have ever played! I also have a 3 1/2 and a 3, but this size is perfect for me ( the others felt very stiff) ! The response is spot on and the flexibility is out of this world! I can bend notes like crazy and it sounds jazzy bluesy. You don't need to wet it, scrape it, adjust it, close pores, keep it in special humidity control cases, it doesn't warp, it is PERFECT! It sounds even better than any cane reed i have ever played! The only downside is that it does not absorb the spit that is builds up on it inside the mouthpiece and is usually absorbed by the cane reed and begins to have that spitty sound pretty fast. After 4-5 minutes of playing it already starts having a spitty sound, while most cane reeds do this in 10-15-20 minutes. But that's not such a big issue for me. I love the way it sounds and plays! 10 out of 10!
